WHAT THE T-SHIRT IS FOR
The Southwest Nationals is a long range shooting competition hosted annually by Berger Bullets that needed a t-shirt design for the 2017 competition.
​
OVERVIEW
I decided to go with a mixture of typography and illustration that incorporated and symbolized different parts of the competition such as the use of flags, targets, and banners. The gritty texture was added to help give the outdoors nature and feel of the sport. I incorporated the hot air balloon to help further identify with the southwest and because you sometimes see them flying near the shooting range. The second photo below is one I took of a staff member wearing this shirt at the competition.
